Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi) south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.
A famous beach in the Philippines can be "more fun" both for travelers seeking "relaxation and tranquility" as well those up for an exciting nightlife, results of new polls showed.
The island of Boracay has been named as the number one Asian destination for relaxation and spa treatments in a list released by international hotel booking website Agoda.
It also ranked third in a global list of tourism sites for "best nightlife excitement" in a separate poll by the same website.

Crystal Clear water
Boracay Island is a very popular place for weekends, holidays, or even for honeymoons. Many couples choose Boracay for their wedding party. Therefore this place is has many hotels and accommodation options. The high season is between May to the end of November. The water is so gorgeous clear and very still. Every thing is so nice. The temperature is around 30 degrees up which is the best temperature to stay and hang around the beach all day long.

Activities can be many different kinds of water sport, for example: scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, para sailing, cliff diving, fishing, banana boat riding or a Glass bottom boat cruise. With its glorious, powdered-sugar sand, White Beach is the centre of the action in Boracay and the only sight most visitors ever see. Beach locations are defined relative to three former boat stations, where bangkas from Caticlan used to arrive. The area south of Station 3, known as Angol, contains most of the budget accommodation, including a few remnants of Old Boracay.
